Amy-+-Karl--00077There is nothing I love more then big poufy tulle flower girl dresses and that is exactly what we did for Amy’s adorable girls.   Amy and I couldn’t decide between white or blue for the skirts so we decided to do both.  The skirts were mostly white tulle but I added one layer of blue in the middle which gave the skirts just a hint of her signature blue.  I am in love with these girls!

As soon as I saw this fabric in the store I knew it would be perfect for a flower girl dress.  I finally got to use it when Jennifer asked me about making a dress for her daughter Ava.  This fabric worked perfectly with what we had already designed for her bridemaid’s dresses.  We pulled in the turquoise and black colour theme with the flower we attached to Ava’s sash.  This was the perfect dress for little Princess Ava.  Check out Jennifer’s bridesmaid’s dresses here.

Sarah decided on a gathered tulle dress for Julia’s flower girl dress.  We added tulle flowers with feather accents through out the skirt.  To stick with the black and white theme we added a black satin sash that tied into a big bow at the back.  I think Julia looked adorable.

Andrea bought a full length wedding gown but knew she wanted a short dress for her beach wedding.  So we cut her wedding dress off at the knee and with the left over fabric we made a matching flower girl dress.  This was such a great way to use up extra fabric and make an adorable dress.
